Florian Reinhardt: The Art of EXIT is an exploration of movement, transition, and the subconscious signals that shape our environment. For nearly two decades, Reinhardt has photographed EXIT signs across the world, transforming them into a profound artistic statement on escape, change, and personal reinvention. This exhibition presents a curated selection of his works, each piece offering a distinct perspective on these universal symbols and their deeper meanings.

This exhibition showcases seven of Florian Reinhardt’s EXIT photographs—FR416, FR975, FR111, FR569, FR136, FR397, and FR083—each capturing the striking yet often-overlooked presence of EXIT signs in urban and industrial landscapes. Through Reinhardt’s lens, these signs become more than functional markers; they reflect themes of acceleration, alienation, and the desire for transformation.

By isolating these illuminated symbols from their surroundings, Reinhardt challenges viewers to reconsider their meaning—are they an escape, a necessity, or a metaphor for progress? His large-scale compositions, presented in series and tableaux, create a dialogue between the familiar and the abstract, the mundane and the profound. Exhibited internationally alongside works by Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, and Shepard Fairey, Reinhardt’s EXIT series continues to redefine our perception of space, movement, and possibility.
